Learn to Skate - Youth

U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills Program consists of eight levels designed to prepare the beginning skater to take the ice with ease and confidence. This badge program focuses on correct technique of basic elements, develops coordination and balance, promotes physical fitness and achieves the skills necessary to be able to skate for fun, play hockey or pursue more advanced skating by joining the figure skating club. Skaters progress according to skills mastered and individual improvement is the number one goal of our talented staff.

Bolton Ice Palace's Saturday Learn to Skate Class is open to youths but adults are welcome, too.

   When:
      5 Sessions to choose from!
      Mondays, 6:00pm - 7:00pm for Youth
      Saturdays, 10:15am - 11:10am for Youth and Adults

      2 Summer 2008 Sessions!
      Mondays, 6:00pm - 7:00pm for Youth
      Saturdays, 10:15am - 11:15am for Youth
   Cost:
      $120 + $10 annual USFSA registration fee
      $80 + $10 annual USFSA registration fee for Summer Sessions
      Payable Bolton Ice Palace

   Equipment:
      Single-blade skates (hockey or figure)
      Skate rentals are included at rink (sizes 10+)
      Helmets are recommended for all beginners age 7 and under
      Mittens or gloves, and snowpants are recommended for Tots
