Daytime ice skating lessons designed to enhance the curriculum of homeschoolers. Classes are 30 minutes of lesson time and 30 minutes of practice time.
Lessons will be grouped by age and will focus on fundamentals of learning how to ice skate (physical fitness) supplemented with learning that extends outside the traditional classroom (basic laws of physics, imagery, movement, rhythm, and music). This exploration of learning uses the human body as the subject and ice as the medium.
Fee includes skate rental.
Helmets are recommended for all beginning level skaters ages 6 and under.
There will be no more than 10 skaters per group and levels may be combined or cancelled due to insufficient enrollment.
There is a NO Make-Up Policy for our learn to skate classes.
