Bolton Ice Palace
Bolton Ice Palace, owned by Black Bear Sports Group, Inc. is a multi-purpose sports facility located in Bolton, Connecticut. Opened in 1972, the 33,000 square-foot facility houses one NHL-sized ice rink. Additionally, the facility is home to a number of on-site businesses including Bolton Hockey Supply Shop. The ice rinks are complemented by private rooms that support a variety of corporate and community functions as well as group outings/field trips. Bolton Ice provides the community with various hockey and skate programs, public skating, drop ins, leagues, trade shows, and private rentals.

Black Bear Sports Group, Inc. is a Chevy Chase, MD-based company that operates sports and entertainment facilities and youth sports events. Black Bear Sports Group, Inc. was founded to purchase undermanaged and underperforming ice rinks to bring professional management and badly needed capital to 20-30 year old rinks to save the facilities and provide a safe and fun environment for the local community. We have subsequently expanded in junior hockey ownership to provide our facility participants a pathway to college hockey.
