An all-ages skating session designed for skaters with wheelchairs or similar adaptive equipment, including sled hockey skaters. This 3 hour drop-in style event includes free admission for Skaters and their Guides (rental skates are available for $5 if the Guide needs them, unfortunately no shoes are allowed on the ice). Any Skater with a wheelchair or similar must have a Guide with them on the ice - Volunteers will be on hand as Guides for those Skaters that need them. All wheelchairs or similar must be in safe working order and must have a functioning seatbelt/shoulder harness. Helmets, although not required, are STRONGLY recommended for anyone on the ice (the rink does not provide helmets).
